I will try to answer any questions you might have. If you have any other ones please do not hesitate to contact me!
Q: How many dogs do you walk at any one time?
A: I walk no more than 4 dogs at a time to ensure each dog gets the attention and care they deserve. Dogs are grouped based on their temperament and location. Smaller groups allow me to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Q: Can I specify a particular time for my dog to be walked?
A: Walks generally take place between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM, but I’ll do my best to accommodate your preferred time. Let me know your requirements, and I’ll work with you to find the best fit for your schedule.
Q: How long are walks?
A: Walks are 1 hour long, excluding pick-up and drop-off time. If your dog needs a longer walk, I’m happy to tailor a solo walk to meet their specific needs.
Q: Where will my dog be walked?
A: Your dog will be walked in local parks and green spaces that are safe, secure, and engaging. I also vary the locations to keep things interesting for your dog. Feel free to discuss about the routes during our introductory meeting.
Q: My dog is nervous around other dogs. Can you still walk them?
A: Yes, absolutely! For nervous dogs, I offer solo walks to help them feel comfortable. Over time, I can gradually introduce them to a friendly group of dogs to improve their confidence and socialization skills.
Q: Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?
A: No, you don’t need to be home. Many clients trust me with a key, which is securely stored and labeled only with your dog’s name for privacy.
Q: What happens in an emergency?
A: I’ll contact you immediately to discuss the situation. If I can’t reach you and urgent care is required, I’ll take your dog to your designated vet or the nearest available vet.
Q: Can I just have occasional walks?
A: Absolutely! I’m flexible and happy to arrange ad-hoc walks. Just text, email, or call me the day before to book or cancel.
Q: Can I meet the person who will be walking my dog?
A: Yes, I encourage an introductory meeting at your home to discuss your dog’s needs before we start. This can be arranged at your convenience.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, I’m fully insured and have undergone background checks for your peace of mind.
Q: Will I be charged if I cancel a walk at short notice?
A: I’m flexible with cancellations. If you give me 24 hours' notice, there will be no cancellation fee.
Q: Can you do evening and weekend walks?
A: Yes, I’m happy to offer walks during mornings, evenings, or weekends. Please contact me to discuss your dog`s needs.
Q: Do I have to pay for walks upfront?
A: No, I invoice at the end of each month for completed walks. Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer or direct debit.
